KIMORA LEE SIMMONS DIVORCES RUSSELL;ASKS FOR LEGAL CUSTODY OF KIDS

Russell,Kimora, and children Ming,and Aoki Simmons

Kimora Lee Simmons,who first separated from her estranged husband Russell Simmons in 2006, has finally filed for divorce.The mother of two cites irreconcilable differences as reasoning for divorce and requests for legal and physical custody of Ming, 8, and Aoki, 5,the couple’s daughters.In addition,Kimora asks that Russell, 50, get “reasonable child visitation … to be accompanied at all times by the children’s nanny and security personnel.”

Kimora first hinted the possibility of a divorce in her future when she made the following statement in regards to a  recently rumored pregnancy:

“I’m in the paper every single week – that I had a fight with my ex-husband, or that I was mad at one of his girlfriends, or that I’m pregnant, or that I demand Fiji water … Lies upon lies upon lies.”
