Actor Blair Underwood loves being a father to his sons Paris,11,Blake,7, and daughter Brielle,9.The actor,author,and humanitarian who has been married to his wife Desiree Dacosta for nearly 14 years says :
“I was there with my wife Desiree when each of our children was born, and although i know it’s humanly impossible to be there every second of every day,it’s a joy to watch as their personalities blossom.The greatest reward is when the lessons,thoughts and ideas you’ve tried to teach them begin to connect.They’re constantly evolving,and i love every minute of being their father.”
“Their grandmother,my mother,used to always say,’Don’t let anybody shake your tree’.When you know who you are,nobody can take you off your game,and I want to empower my kids with a sense of self so that they know who they are-in their heritage,their culture,as human beings and as children of God.It’s important to me that they carry themselves with boldness and humility. They are my legacy.”

I love Blair Underwood. He is a great actor. But he is a family man, I love to hear a black man talk about fatherhood. We need more black men like him. He loves his family and I love to see that. God Bless him and his family.

I love Blair not only is he sexy. I also have so much respect for him.
I typed in his name and was so upset to see headlines such as, black people are upset with Blair because he had an intimate acting part with a white woman. Can’t a man broaden His career horizons, can we let the man do what we watch him to do, act? He’s great at it.
Are we surprised that, even white America, respects him enough to pair him with a main character on a highly rated show.
So let’s support the man and give him credit for his God given talents and his beauty.
