50 CENT: MY BABY’S MOTHER MIGHT HAVE STARTED THE FIRE
Rapper 50 Cent is talking about the fire that consumed his Long Island mansion in May. At the time, the 50 Cent’s home was being occupied by the his ex-girlfriend Shaniqua Tompkins and his son, Marquise. According to the rapper, Tompkins was ordered to vacate the mansion just days before it went up in flames…
Via 411mania:50 Cent has hinted lately that it was his ex-girlfriend, not him, that started the fire that burnt down 50’s multi-million dollar New York home in May. The woman, Shaniqua Tompkins, was living there with 50’s son at the
time.50 Cent confirmed she was ordered to leave the property just days before it was torched. 50 said: “The courts told her she had to leave. It’s kind of more like, ‘If I can’t have you, you can’t have it.’ “
When asked if he thought Tompkins was responsible for the fire, the rapper replied: “Well, I don’t want to say that… don’t try to make me say something I don’t want to say. But, the circumstances to it might seem that way.”
Six people, including 50 and Shaniqua’s 10-year-old son Marquis, were rushed to hospital. Shaniqua had filed a lawsuit prior claiming 50 had promised her a house several years before. The lawsuit was not going well for Tompkins at the time of the fire. Fiddy was attempting to evict her.
However, Shaniqua sees the cause of the fire differently: “He tried to kill me and his own child. I know this came from 50 Cent. I know he did it.”
