WYCLEF JEAN SETS GOOD EXAMPLE FOR DAUGHTER AND FOR HAITIANS,TOO
Singer/rapper Wyclef Jean is setting a good example for his young daughter Angelina and for youths in his native country of Haiti. The former Fugees member is advising his fellow denizens to cease the violence. As it is,Crime in Haiti has escalated over the years; In march alone,36 people were kidnapped for ransom in Port-au-Prince, and about 30 in February.
In a recent radio advertisement run several times a day in Haiti, the rapper/singer says in creole:
“If you love Wyclef, that means you love Haiti. So you should not be raping women, kidnapping people and children, because there can be no excuse for doing so.I reject these evil practices.”
U.N peacemakers hope that Wyclef’s Celebrity status will help to propel change in the country known as the poorest in the Americas. It then comes as no surprise that Wyclef was made roving ambassador by Haitian president Preval in early 2007.

I work with a group, Partners with Haiti.
We are a Christian group working in Marbiel and Lamondia.
We are making friends and supporting the 600 plus children with education and meals.
I think your efforts are awesome and would very much like to continue with others in supporting the children toward a healthy future. They are the future of Haiti. They will be the generation to effect change and move their country into a thriving nation once again. I applaud your efforts.
