SHANIQUA TOMPKINS LOSES TO 50 CENT
Shaniqua Tompkins,the mother of rapper 50 Cent’s son,has lost yet another round to her son’s father:
VIA MTV:The ongoing feud between 50 Cent and Shaniqua Tompkins, the mother of his 11-year-old son, Marquise, heated up Monday (September 8th) inside a Long Island courtroom, as a family court judge ruled that the rapper can spend more time with the boy. According to his lawyer, Brett Kimmell, 50 will be able to see his child on alternating weekends; this is the only visitation the rapper has with Marquise. But, as part of his temporary ruling, Judge David Freundlich ordered 50 and Tompkins to hand their son off at a police station. The judge also issued an order of protection, barring 50 from having any contact with Tompkins.
Outside the court, Tompkins told reporters the judge awarded 50 too much time with Marquise, saying, “My son doesn’t want every other weekend.” 50, on the other hand, seemed quite pleased with the outcome.
“Yeah, I’m happy. I get a chance to see him,” Newsday quotes 50 as saying. “I’m going to hang out … make some movies, make some music and continue to kick it.”
The next hearing in the case has been set for October 22.

you know all the kids out there that want nothing more than to see their father she is going to court saying the judge gave too much time! what is too much time to spend with his father. women like this give women who have a real fight on their hands a bad name. i wish this woman would just go away she looks like a fool. now they have to exchange him at a police station? 50 should just get full custody and call it a day. this woman is most likely poisoning her childs mind on a daily basis
i am so tired of both of these assholes. neither one is looking out for the best interest of their child. this is why some ppl dont need to have kids. letting dudes nut up all in you and what not.
I was really rooting for him up until his comment about him and his son seeing “hoes” while they are together.
Every other weekend is still nothing to me to spend with your son! They both are acting real stupid over this!
I’m not sure what is true and what is not true but from what I have read I would like to say this. As single Black women we already have it hard and if you have a man that is trying to provide for his child and is helping you out, why be vindictive and greedy. Grant it there may be sacrifises that have to be made but if you take the time to communicate and be inderstanding all should fall into place. No every other weekend may not be good but at least he is requiring that. We know what he does and what is expected of him as an entertainer so people need to stop acting like he is home doing nothing with time on his hand. Ms. Tompkins needs to be thankful of what she has. I’m not for 50 nor his son’s mother I am for what is right and speaking from experience.

Wow. Listen I am a single father. First thing. I be dam if a judge tells me when i can see my Son or my Daugther. 2nd Stop messing with crazy “bitches.” A mother should always encourage her child to be with there fathers. mothers alwyas out there saying oh he’s a dead beat, when in reality they are keeping there kids away from there fathers. dont get me wrong there are a lot of dead beats out there. This bullshit of 50cent X not wanting her child be with the father is the most outrageous thing you can hear. My advice for all the woman out there. Try to encourage your children to be with there fathers. dont push it. eventually the kids will grow up and see what the deal is…. Romi
